Every plan is the same Badgewright. Nothing is held back on the smaller ones — not the designer, not two-factor authentication, not the audit log. The only thing that changes is how many records you hold.

Questions about billing
How does the free trial work?
You get 14 days of the whole product, with room for 10,000 records — more headroom than any plan below Enterprise, so you can import everyone before you decide which plan you need. We don't ask for a card. If you haven't chosen a plan when the trial ends, we write to you to choose one. Nothing is deleted, you can still view your data and export it, and we may pause adding, importing and printing until you subscribe.
I already use other card software. Can I bring my data?
Yes, and it costs nothing extra: import is on every plan and during the trial. Export a CSV and a zip of photos from what you use now, and Badgewright matches the columns and the photo files for you, with a dry run before anything is saved. How switching works, and if you are leaving CloudBadging specifically, the two side by side.
What counts as a record?
One person in one dataset. We count active records across all your datasets; deleted records don't count. Users, templates and printed cards are never counted.
What happens when I reach my record limit?
Adding and importing new records is paused until you upgrade or delete some. Printing, editing and deleting always keep working, so a limit never stops you issuing a card to someone already on file.
Can I change plans or billing period?
Yes, at any time from the billing page. If you move to a plan smaller than your record count, you keep all your data and can print and edit, but can't add records until you are under the limit.
What if a payment fails?
You have 7 days to fix it, and nothing changes in that time; we'll remind you. After that we may pause adding, importing and printing until the payment goes through. You can always view and export your data.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
We keep it for 90 days, so you can come back, export your records, or ask us for a complete export with photos and templates. After 90 days it is deleted.
Do you charge sales tax?
Where your state taxes software subscriptions, tax is added at checkout and shown on your invoice.
Which printers work?
Any ID card printer with a Windows or macOS driver, such as HID Fargo, Evolis and Zebra models, direct-to-card or retransfer. Badgewright prints cards; it doesn't encode magnetic stripes or smart card chips.
